El edificio del Servizo de Mobilidade da Coruña, que forma parte del conjunto de la estación de autobuses de la ciudad, data del año 1973. El proyecto incluye por un lado la reparación y mantenimiento de la envolvente exterior del edificio y por otro lado la reforma de los espacios interiores.
Se mejora la distribución interior del edificio y se armonizan los acabados y el mobiliario. En el centro del edificio se encuentran los núcleos húmedos anexos a la escalera existente, que dividen las plantas del edificio en dos áreas diferenciadas generando un esquema de funcionamiento claro. En una de las mitades del edificio se mantiene la distribución existente para ubicar los despachos y salas de almacenaje en función de la planta. En la otra zona, se elimina la compartimentación existente con la finalidad de generar espacios de trabjo abiertos con puestos de atención al público que fomenten las relaciones.

El edificio de la estación de autobuses de A Coruña se concibe a partir de un único plano de cubierta horizontal, que avanza paralelo a la avenida de la Sardiñeira y de la trazaferroviaria. Bajo este plano se localizan todos los usos propios de la estación, tanto los propios del edificio de viajeros, como la zona de dársenas y circulación de autobuses. Así mismo, la cubierta recoge e integra el desembarco de la pasarela peatonal que proviene de la avenida del Ferrocarril. El plano de cubierta se resuelve a una altura de 6 metros, aproximadamente, desde la cota de la Calle Sardiñeira en la zona del acceso peatonal. Esta altura es la óptima para la dársena, así como para los espacios más públicos del edificio de viajeros. Así mismo, sobre aquellos usos más privados, principalmente los administrativos y destinados a personal de la estación, permite la inclusión de una entreplanta a 4 metros de altura que albergue las instalaciones del edificio. La cota adoptada para la cubierta de la estación de autobuses mantiene, aproximadamente, la de los andenes de la nueva estación de ADIF, facilitando la lectura de ambas cubiertas como dos elementos integrados en un mismo conjunto. La cubierta se sustenta sobre un sistema de pórticos de desarrollo longitudinal, en la dirección de la trazaferroviaria. Este sistema estructural se modula en crujías de 8 metros, en alusión a la marquesina histórica de la estación de ferrocarril, distancia que a su vez se ha utilizado también en la nueva cubiertasobre los andenes de la nueva estación de ADIF. El plano de cubierta se rompe mediante una serie de lucernarios (uno en el edificio de viajeros y tres enla dársena) de desarrollo longitudinal que dotan de una luz natural que acompaña en todo momento alviajero, desde el propio acceso al edificio a las dársenas.

La aparición junto a la propia estación de dos proyectos de gran trascendencia urbana y regional, como son el nuevo Centro Internacional de Cultura Contemporánea, sito en el rehabilitado edificio de la antigua Fábrica de Tabacos, en Eguía, y la nueva Estación Terminal de Autobuses inaugurada recientemente, junto con la modificación y reurbanización de sus respectivos entornos que, en términos de espacio público ello ha supuesto, proporcionan una especial posición estratégica al emplazamiento de la futura estación en términos de accesibilidad e inter-modalidad.
El valor patrimonial de determinados elementos arquitectónicos como la propia estación actual, la marquesina sobre los actuales andenes o la columnata situada con frente al eje del puente de María Cristina, condiciona así mismo la debida formalización de este proyecto.
El proyecto resuelve, en términos de intermodalidad, las comunicaciones y relación funcional, tanto con la nueva estación terminal de autobuses como con el actual y re-urbanizado paso subterráneo existente entre la fachada correspondiente al río Urumea y la zona de Eguía, así como su necesaria continuidad y conexión hacia la ya comentada plataforma superior que, finalmente, debería de convertirse en un magnífico espacio urbano al servicio tanto de la vecina Tabakalera, como de la propia y nueva estación de alta velocidad.

An initial study of the object of the competition prompted us to focus on three aspects during the architectural reflection process: 'urban location', 'architectural nature of the building' and 'the Tabakalera project as a future cultural centre dedicated to visual art'.
Currently, an underground walkway running under the railway lines links the Egia neighbourhood and the Cristina Enea city park to the rest of the city. The walkway has exits to the future EDIF platform over the North Station and Blas de Otero square. The project proposes the creation of a "loggia" on the northern side of the building, with the aim of creating a new urban square at basement level which would be multifunctional and partially covered and would rethink the entranceways to this underground walkway and link directly to the new mechanical access points and the 'main street' of the future ICCC.
This new area or loggia is a vital component of this project, since in recreational terms, it is the key to completing the 'tic-tac-toe' formation after which the project's slogan is named and which aims to link, in a hypothetical diagonal line passing through the building, all three 'counters' in the game: Cristina Enea park (and the Egia neighbourhood), Tabakalera and the area of the city centre located on the other side of the river. From the inside of the building, this diagonal line would also link the two main entrances to Tabakalera: the current entrance from Paseo del Duque de Mandas and the new one located on the 'main street' and courtyard on the north-western side (open down to basement level), which would provide access to the aforementioned 'loggia'.
In recognition of the architectural value and style of the building, the project establishes several strategies for maintaining original elements and highlighting the value of its most representative characteristics. We have striven at all times to maintain a high level of constructive cohesion, in order to minimise structural interventions in the building.
A new glass construction will rise over the central body of the building in search of new, alternative energy sources (photovoltaic plates), while at the same time reinforcing the symmetry of the design. This uppermost, most visible floor of the building will house public restaurants offering fantastic views of the capital, and at night, it will become a shining source of light, reminiscent of a huge urban lighthouse.

El nuevo centro judicial de "A Parda", promovida por la Vicepresidencia, Consellería de Presidencia, Administracións Públicas e Xustiza de la Xunta de Galicia , nace con la intención de reagrupar todos los juzgados de la ciudad de Pontevedra , generando al mismo tiempo espacio suficiente para las necesidades de los próximos años. El nuevo edificio se comunica con el existente a través de una pasarela , formando una única unidad funcional.
La imagen exterior del edificio viene dada por dos condicionantes claros, como son el ámbito urbanístico y la arquitectura colindante, en especial el edificio judicial existente. Es por ellos que el nuevo edificio plantea su fachada mediante planos achaflanados en curva y huecos seriados.
A nivel urbanístico, el edificio se dispone en una parcela de planta trapezoidal situada en una cota considerablemente elevada con respecto a las vías de llegada y salida del tren , haciendo que se ubique como un referente desde la zona de entrada de la ciudad vía ferrocarril.
El edificio en su asentamiento genera tres plazas con caracteres distintos por las entradas y salidas que se plantean en el edificio. Una entrada principal de acceso público, una plaza en la salida de la sala de vistas principal y una última plaza en la entrada reservada a los jueces.
La tipología de la edificación mantine la tipología característica de la zona , en la que predomina la manzana cerrada de bloques de vivienda en torno a un patio.La idea es conseguir la integración en el entorno a través de un volumen compacto en seis alturas, siendo a la vez ligero y permeable. Se sigue, por tanto, la pauta ya instaurada en ese ámbito de edificios con patio interior.
El cerramiento exterior se realiza a base de una doble piel. Una interior, totalmente acristalada, otra exterior, de lamas verticales, que actúan a su vez como protección solar y de vistas. La fachada resultante ofrece vistas cambiantes e imagen diferente según la posición desde la que se mira el edificio, siendo permeable en una vista frontal y opaca si se mira de manera lateral. Los colores utilizados son los existentes en los edificios circundantes de la ciudad (blanco, gris,negro y verde), lo que le confiere una mayor integración con su entorno. El edificio, gracias a su posición y permeabilidad, actúa como un "foco" de luz cuando la luz exterior sea menor que la interior.
El edificio se une con el edificio contiguo mediante una pasarela que vincula la planta primera con la planta de salas de vistas del edificio existente, esta pasarela prolonga el cerramiento de baguetes que se dispone en todo el resto del edificio nuevo. Esta pasarela permite el uso conjunto de ambos edificios, premisa establecida desde los objetivos de concurso. Lo que hace que urbanísticamente estos dos edificio funcionen como uno, teniendo la entrada y salida por el mismo punto.
El atrio central funciona como gran plaza interior que vertebra todas las circulaciones del proyectocon un diseño iluminado por los lucernarios situados en el patio interior de planta tipo.
Escuela Municipal de Danza en San Sebastián

El proyecto de la Escuela de Danza tiene por objeto dar respuesta a toda aquella demanda social de formación en el ámbito de la danza, a través de una enseñanza no reglada de multiples especialidades dirigida a personas de todas las edades.
Debido a la citada demanda social, se cede un local de origen municipal para el desarrollo del proyecto, ubicado bajo los jardines Blas de Otero en el ámbito del conjunto residencial de la Torre de Atotxa de Donostia-San Sebastián. Por tanto, estará situado frente a la entrada principal del futuro Centro Cultural Tabakalera, creando un lugar de referencia para la creación artística.
El nuevo edificio dispone de una superficie total construida de 1070 m2 y tendrá una única fachada exterior, situada frente a la futura plaza prevista como ampliación del espacio ocupado por el actual paso subterráneo y futuro acceso a las instalaciones de Tabakalera. El resto de las fachadas son interiores y colindantes con el Depósito Municipal de vehículos, así como con el Hogar del Jubilado de Atotxa y un futuro espacio ocupado como aparcamiento de bicicletas. El edificio se desarrolla en una única planta donde albergará cuatro amplias salas de danza y una de calentamiento entre otras dependencias, que estarán dedicadas única y exclusivamente a la danza ampliando así la oferta a modalidades como el popular baile vasco.
La construcción de la Escuela de Danza está ligada, tanto en el tiempo como en el hecho de compartir elementos arquitectónicos, a la intervención prevista en el futuro espacio público, que habrá de mejorar las actuales condiciones del paso subterráneo bajo el ferrocarril y, a su vez, facilitar un nuevo acceso al propio edificio de Tabakalera, en su actual planta sótano.
El nuevo espacio público será el lazo de unión entre dos edificios donde el arte y la cultura serán las bases primordiales en una ciudad que camina hacia la cultura en sus múltiples vertientes.

En este lugar nos encontramos con una serie de antiguas instalaciones de carácter fabril, estructuras reconocibles, con identidad propia y fuertemente arraigadas en la memoria de la ciudad, por lo que la propuesta presentada parte de la necesidad de conservar estos elementos arquitectónicos como parte del patrimonio industrial de ciudad y de este modo permitir a las generaciones futuras una total comprensión de la trama urbana. Por lo que la actuación propuesta se basa en la reutilización de las estructuras existentes, manteniendo su esencia original y dotándolas de unos nuevos usos.
Debido a la particular ubicación de estas instalaciones, englobadas dentro de un eje de conexión entre distintos centros dedicados al arte, creación y divulgación, así como la ausencia de espacios públicos de entidad donde el ciudadano sea el protagonista y teniendo en cuenta el análisis de su entorno, nos permiten llegar a la definición de una serie de objetivos generales que proporcionan el soporte necesario a nuestra propuesta. Así entendidas las intenciones requeridas para estos espacios, podríamos interpretar las preposiciones “en”, “desde” y 'para' relacionándolas con nuestra idea del siguiente modo:
-'EN' la ciudad:
Situado en un enclave característico de la ciudad, se identificará rápidamente el “Bulevar de las Artes” identificado por la unión entre los centros e instituciones adyacentes con nuestro centro de producción CIDEA, distinguido como un referente del diseño, la creatividad y el ingenio.
-'PARA' la ciudad:
Entendemos todo el complejo como un mecanismo que interrelaciona creación, intercambio y aprendizaje en un mismo entorno.
Además, debemos recordar que también deseamos reconvertir este espacio en un área de esparcimiento y disfrute, donde cobran protagonismo los ciudadanos y turistas. Para ello, también se han estudiado las diferentes zonas de estancia en cuanto a las actividades a desarrollar en cada una de ellas.
La idea se fundamenta en los principios de la Bauhaus, escuela de diseño, arte y arquitectura, basada en la artesanía y trabajo manual donde artistas y artesanos se unen a través de una misma forma de trabajo.
-'DESDE' la ciudad:
Entendido como una vinculación directa con la divulgación e intercambio, donde las ideas en las cuales se trabaja se llegan a ejecutar y es posible su exportación.
En este lugar atopámonos con una serie de antigas instalacións de carácter fabril, estruturas recoñecibles, con identidade propia e fortemente enraizadas na memoria da cidade, polo que a proposta presentada parte da necesidade de conservar estes elementos arquitectónicos como parte do patrimonio industrial da cidade e de este modo permitir ás xeracións futuras unha total comprensión da trama urbana. Polo tanto a actuación proposta basado na reutilización das estruturas existentes, mantendo a súa esencia orixinal e dotándoas de uns novos usos.

Having thoroughly analyzed the area, we decided to preserve the function of market, reducing the number of market stalls, but also seems appropriate to give the building a series of rooms designed to a social and cultural use, linking them directly with the market. Therefore, the proposal also has an auditorium in the basement, some enterprise incubators on the first floor and dynamic restoration areas on the first floor that support the marketing program. Also on the first floor is an area of training available to the council. Our proposal for this area would be to create a space dedicated to the culture of the kitchen, fully linked with the market, where leading chefs could teach people of the county or other visitors or where they can make even cooking shows. And thanks to the creation of the conference areas in the basement, these uses might work on a large scale, being a large claim and not just for the building and the area, but also for Portugalete and the province. Therefore, we want to provide the city council with these proposals:
• Provide the Village with facilities that it doesn’t have up to now.
• Recover the use of the market, but on a smaller scale.
• Ensure that this building will become a place of leisure and culture for the city council.
• Enhance and add value to the area thanks to this intervention.
Furthermore, the more important concepts in our project for this building and surroundings are:
• Improve the performance of the property with new vertical cores.
• The introduction of a new floor (second floor) to enrich the use of enterprise incubators.
• Try to provide this market with an underground car park.
• Raise the height of the square to the height of ground floor to get a better connection between public space and the market, even can be unified them at certain times, like weekend market stalls…

The building is conceived as a volumetrically closed block slightly introverted, getting, with a perforated metal enclosure, sufficient permeability to light, so that the building is perceived both internally and externally, very light. The volume is very cleaning and compact in the exterior, so this building has a strong presence in the area, working as a benchmark in this parcel, and Pontevedra. We got the integration, using the type of closed block, present in the vicinity, and on the other hand, using flat and curved shapes in some points of the new court.
This form is extracted from the traces that we are given in the plot, and bending the joints, is precisely to achieve a dialogue between the two buildings.
The proposed closure is formed by perforated Corten steel. The perforation is not always equal, the circles have different sizes depending on the area which is located across the sheet, as the need for natural light to enter this space and the privacy to the same.
The plate is combined with a second glass skin, which will be practicable in some parts, for ventilation and circulation spaces.
This double skin provides the perfect combination for a very continuous building on the outside but allows ventilation and light to enter.
The building despite having a clean volumetry, the same in all floors , if there is a point where the volumes are "holing" to get very interesting terraces in each of the plants.
The building is joined to the adjacent building through a footbridge. This footbridge is made by the same material of the exterior skin of the court.

The project tries to resolve the urban problems in the area, offering some interesting public spaces, designing one building with a clear operation and integrated with the public facilities of the city, proposing a building that is an icon to Ourense.
Looking the plot in its current state and its immediate surroundings it is detected a big urban problem (problems with the pedestrian circulations) and the disconnection of public spaces and facilities that are planned for the area.
It is essential to resolve this circulation, to get a continuous pedestrian path along the river, and the circulation along the river across the bridge that arrives to the city center.
It is proposed the enlargement of the step sections that are developed on the north side of the plot, setting a way that goes to the space created for the proposed public square, which is integrated into the building through the introduction of a common language inside the same.
The project consists of two volumes of 6 meter width, linked to each other by a vertical communications core. These volumes are characterized by being integrate inside the place and solve the requirements for light control and solar incidence.
Volume 1: soberer, with straight lines. This volume is integrated with the language of neighboring dwellings.
Volume 2: it becomes more organic, with curved facades with colored glass slats, which gets integrated into the elevation that from the river, boosting green space areas, being the piece that closes the buildings elevations, participating with the changing color of the trees in the riverside walk, which takes place on the riverbank.
The project will become a new benchmark for the city, an icon, located in one of the main entrances to the city, which equates the formal dynamism of the city that is offered by the Millennium Bridge, presenting a new image of Ourense to all people who want to visit this city and its citizens.
With differentiation of the building in two volumes, it is generated a very light and clear operation floor, locating, in its higher floors, in one of its volumes, all the office units: volume 1, while in the volume 2, it is located all landscape offices and specific rooms units. The volumes are 6 meters wide, so we can use a concrete structure, simple and inexpensive. The choice of using a double skin façade allows us a light, ventilation and sound control.

La Real Fábrica de Tabacos de la ciudad de A Coruña ocupa un lugar prominente en la historia del tabaco español. Para su instalación se optó por ocupar el edificio que a finales del siglo XVIII servía como los correos marítimos, un lugar estratégico para la conexión con la Habana y Buenos Aires.
Un primer paso en este proyecto fue una profunda reflexión sobre aquellos aspectos relacionados con el paisaje circundante y con la implicación del edificio en el conjunto. Establecemos las pautas de intentar asumir la integración del edificio en un sistema sostenible y dotado de sensibilidad medioambiental.
En consecuencia se podría sintetizar el proceso de reflexión arquitectónica y urbana en las siguientes direcciones:
-Emplazamiento y relación con su entorno
-Carácter arquitectónico del edificio
La Fábrica de Tabacos se organiza de manera simétrica. El edificio se configura entorno a cuatro patios de amplias dimensiones. Un potente cuerpo edificado central articula la axialidad del edificio y en su parte hacia el acceso por la Palloza se contiene el acceso monumental. Esta simetría nos es muy útil a la hora de encajar en nuestra propuesta el programa de necesidades requerido para la rehabilitación de la fábrica en infraestructuras judiciales. Trabajamos también con los patios de dos maneras distintas. Los dos patios delanteros pasan a ser el vestíbulo principal del edificio, cubiertos por un gran lucernario, y unificándose en planta baja. Mientras que en los traseros realizamos una reinterpretación de estas estancias que existen en la actualidad ocupándolos pero de una manera mucho más razonable, donde ubicaremos las secciones. Nunca se ocupan en su totalidad sino que se deja siempre una franja perimetral que permite la iluminación y ventilación de las estancias, dejando que este elemento respire. Entorno a estos patios tenemos las grandes naves longitudinales que componen el edificio, con planta baja, primera y segunda. Estas naves se rematan con una cubierta a dos aguas, que ha sufrido modificaciones con el tiempo siendo perforada puntualmente con unos pequeños lucernarios.
La dimensión del futuro edificio, consecuencia de su programa de necesidades, así como su relación con su emplazamiento geográfico concreto, conducen de forma inevitable a la concepción de una volumetría de destacada presencia, con la expresa voluntad de afirmarse en el entorno, caracterizando su destacada función mediante una potente caracterización formal. En este sentido, se ha prestado especial atención a la creación de un volumen en la nave central de la fábrica que se eleva y se convierte en un hito dentro de la ciudad. Este cuerpo hace una reinterpretación del "skyline" de cubiertas existente pero con un lenguaje moderno. Este volumen nos aporta la posibilidad de acoger un enorme espacio de oportunidad, que puede vincularse tanto con las nuevas infraestructuras judiciales como con el espacio que solicita el pliego de uso por determinar. Por otro lado, este volumen nos permite la introducción de luz natural en el edificio, con especial impacto en los espacios de relación, ya que al diseñar un gran lucernario que se abre sobre una sucesión de huecos interiores, permitiendo la iluminación en toda la altura del edificio en estas estancias de uso común. Este cuerpo no llega hasta la fachada principal, sino que se queda retrasado, con la consecuente aparición de una terraza que se vuelca a las vistas del puerto de A Coruña. Este hecho nace de la clara intención de darle mayor protagonismo a la fachada de acceso de modo que la vista del reloj con el volumen en un segundo plano, pudiendo estar este iluminado, dotará, sin duda alguna de una teatralidad que convertirá la fábrica en un punto de referencia dentro de la arquitectura de A Coruña.

The proposed location for the new sports facilities in the municipality of Gorliz is part of the current sports area Uresarantze completing the soccer fields, tennis and athletics which exist nowadays. The parcel is part of a landscape dominated by a strong topography which eventually forms a depression starring stepped platforms in order to accommodate sporting uses. A woodland consisting mainly of pines and oaks is the landscape where are this sports complex. The location of the proposed building reflects the desire to keep as a reference, the longitudinal axis that exists in the sports hall, now embodied by a walking tour of the football field and stairs by saving different platforms in North direction.
The access of the building and its center of gravity is located in this north-south axis, and from this center it is distributed in a fan shape. This movement to divide the building into three main volumes, the central axis would correspond to the campus and would place the main entrances and vertical communications, a second volume located on the east is where would be located mainly swimming pools, spas, locker rooms, fitness area and outdoor solarium, and a third volume located on the west is where the front wall would stand, changing rooms and the paddle. The building has two entrances, the first one, located across the street Uresarantze, new pedestrian access would be construct, due to the proximity of existing public parking on the road and the proximity of a stop public transport.
This access would be an alternative to currently existing access in the lower and middle area of the complex, taking the opportunity to enter from the upper platform through a path in which the wavy geometry of the roof allows us to frame the landscape. The second, located on the level of the artificial football field and is produced by the movement on the ground in a "fan-shaped" allows to harbor the interior pedestrian paths and the necessary access for service vehicles.
This building is designed to be built in two phases, a first in which we could build the access volume, vertical communications and administration, and the volume located on the east that would house the pool, spa areas, locker rooms and gym; a second phase in which it would build the building located on the west and would house the pelota court with their changing rooms, and two paddle courts. Outside, two tennis courts would be relocated, initially uncovered, but with the skill to do it so easily in the future, due to the topography where is located the project.

Una primera reflexión, a escala de ciudad, permite identificar un eje virtual que enlaza en línea recta la prolongación de la Avda. Meridiana con el solar de la Biblioteca, atravesando el Parc de la Ciutadella para finalizar en la propia Estació de França. Este eje virtual acabará por convertirse en uno de los principales recorridos de la estructura de espacios libres del sector y el punto para acceder al gran espacio interior de las arcadas de la estación.
La propuesta parte de la necesidad de mantener el actual espacio público formado por la denominada "plaza de carruajes" en tanto que espacio de acceso a las instalaciones de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra y espacio-rótula del sistema de espacios libres formado por la entrega de la Avda. Marqués de Argentera con el Passeig de Circumval.lació y el Parc de la Ciutadella. El mantenimiento de este espacio libre, si bien dificulta la visión directa de la Biblioteca desde Marqués de Argentera, proporciona, a su vez, un importante espacio de acceso y de relación que permite potenciar su "rol" como punto de atracción urbana del sector.
Todos estos argumentos-objetivo condicionan la formalización arquitectónica del edificio que presenta una fachada de carácter organicista hacia el Parque, utilizando sus desplazamientos en planta para colocar terrazas como elementos de transición entre espacio interior y exterior, mientras que la fachada sur, encarada a la Estación, se defina mediante dos superficies planas que adoptan un carácter de neutralidad frente a la potencia de la arquitectura de la propia Estación.
La perforación central abierta en el edificio, así como la teatralidad provocada por la confluencia de alineaciones curvilíneas, responde a la voluntad de resaltar este punto neurálgico, facilitando a su vez la visión directa de la zona de los andenes de la Estación desde el Parque.
Finalmente, una rampa de gran desarrollo protagoniza y, en cierta manera "coloniza", el espacio público situado en la antigua "plaza de carruajes", dotándolo de estructura urbana y resolviendo los accesos peatonales a la primera planta de la Biblioteca.

Considerating the conditions given by the port authority, the project has been designed with these characteristics:
1. The building must necessarily grow horizontally along the cliff without exceeding the gauge.
2. The pedestrian path on the cliff of the port, should be resolved without cause interference with fishing activity.
3. The development of the facade facing the Esnabide street must adopt a deformation in the form of folds or dilation.
4. The deformations in the lineal development of the plant, providing light to the whole building without disturb the performance of the fish market.
5. The facade of the bay is parallel to the trace of the cliff in order to prioritize the landing areas and necessary work to drive the fish into the building
6. The cover has been treat as the "fifth facade of the building" because would be perceived from the environment. It becomes a walking tour for people who want to see how the building without disturbing the function of the building.
7. In this pedestrian path the people would found a restaurant and serial of build spaces to use.
8. The project preserves the ice maker, becoming a backlit volume.
9. One the main priorities in the proposal have been to solve the problems of accessibility of goods and the need of new public parking areas.

The fish market is divided into two clear parts.
On the one hand a U shape volume which includes all the administrative and techniques rooms of the building. On the other hand a set of 5 volumes containing longitudinal modules exporters. Both pieces come together in the same architectural language by the same tectonic concrete base that involves the entire ground floor.
Concrete flat roofs and shield cover the corridors of fish market, providing natural light and a sustainability strategy.
These two parts differ in a remarkable way by treating of their covers, despite using the same material, the zinc, it has been applied with two different building systems. The U-piece, "The fish", is composed of three parts both on the cover and in its functional and spatial organization.
The five volumes, that contains the exporting modules, are communicate by lateral corridors with the "the fish".
The skyline of the building allows the integration of the environment.

The building is integrated in the environment with a clear volumetric conception.
This building is sealed to protect it against the weather conditions, but is related with the street by several white boxes that stand out from the volume of the building. These boxes are the public areas inside the building.
The court is organized around three courtyards, which become in the three courtrooms on the ground floor.
The entry of natural light is very controlled in the building.
The court has more privacy for the development of their activities because of being an introverted building.
The three courtrooms have natural light because of having the courtyards above them, so, although they are in the center of the building, they have natural light.
The courtyards are an interpretation of the Andalusia courtyard, allowing us to introduce nature into the building as their lungs.
On the skin of the building we propose a ventilated façade system with Ceramic brick as cladding. The characteristics of this material make it the most suitable for this place.

Rarely the outcome of an artistic expression is the result of a deep reflection on the condition of the object and its subsequent formalization and this is certainly one of them.
The condition of urban sculpture of the object forces an intense and detailed analysis of those characteristic of their environment in terms of use, volumes, realizing constructive and strategic and relative position.
The theme of this proposal, "Dialogues", is an abstraction of what we had made in the process of creation for this contest. Final the project allows us create shapes and textures, which materializes our personal contribution to the artistic achievement proposal by the contest.
Four slender figure, clad in Corten steel, dialogue between them forming with his powerful presence an "urban landmark". Vertical formalization of this sculpture seeks to reinforce its role as a visual reference from Sol Avenue.

Before the development of the project, the semi-natural conditions of the future park made us think about the type of treatment and appropriate management for a green area which serves as a focal point for a new urban development while verge of a great Forest Park .
The project is conceived as a park-transition between the urban public space (hard) and public space forest, trying to focus the intervention on the area closest to the urban area, the more distant we are from the urban area more limited will be the intervention, reducing it to the park paths.
After locating the main routes, these are understood as roots of the new Forest Park as a "leaf".
These paths are born in two gateways to the Park Forest, crossing the watercourse.
These routes take sinuous forms by concrete walls and stone walls, thus achieving better adaptation to the land surveying and permitting in same points of these routes appear to be areas and stretches of vegetation, and the creation spaces with square characteristics.
Places where the topography is flatter and permits it, identifying viewpoints and landmarks to enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains and remarkable visual connections.
The perimeter of the park or transition zone between these routes "roots" and the urban grid is solved by creating a platform-organically strip about 30m wide and situated at an elevation of the new city, in which install all equipment needs and services of an urban park of this size.

Calella in recent years has experienced outstanding urban growth and significant changes in the configuration of its urban infrastructure by creating new scenarios of urban development likely to suit the future needs of the municipality which justified the creation of a new Plan of Urban Planning Municipal (POUM).
The new plan proposes, among other things, that the area called SUD-4, residential sector "Riera Capaspre Central" be transformed into urban land.
Furthermore, the area called SUD-6 sector "Industrial" of economic and industrial activities, can be transformed into urban land with the approval of this Urban Plan.
It is worth noting that the main objective of this project is to manage and develop this sector (SUD-6), which through expansion and urban location, has experienced growth in the main areas of industry , tertiary services and quality services . SUD-6 is the "industrial" sector of economic and industrial activities as defined in the new Municipal Urban Management Plan of Calella.
The creation of a new area for new business and industry, is intended to promote balanced growth, and encourage deseasonalisation of the municipality 's economy.
Another element involved in the development of this area and with SUD-4 is the opening of a new northern access point to the town, which will link the existing highway access road with the planned road by the POUM, located next to the Riera Capaspre.
In terms of the aims is to build a road network that is not solely dependent on the current N-II. The creation of this new access off the current access road to the C-32,will allow direct access to the Hotel district over the Riera Capaspre, which should become a new hub of the city.

The project is organized based on a homogeneous distribution of the typology designed over the entire site; this determines a uniform pattern of longitudinal and transversal routes that structure clearly and strongly the final image.This pattern is split into two levels (ground floor and first floor) which are connected by a system of strategically arranged stairs. This will allow same level access to the dwellings located on the ground floor (50% of the total) and facilities of the other houses by means of both the stairs and elevators. Ten of the dwellings on the upper floor will be duplexes. The upper floor dwellings that can be accessed by elevator are all 'visitable". All apartments will have cross ventilation.
The proposed model allows for open spaces linked by different pedestrian routes reducing the cost of them. The planting of trees in the area close to the streets are located outside the boundary of the underground parking.
In terms of road and parking network, an underground car park system is proposed connecting the two sections, reducing the number of entrances and exits plus a parking area is proposed along the streets of Calle Balmes and Calle Florida.
At this stage, a car park of 36 spaces will be built, 4 of which are for disabled drivers. A storage area will also be set aside in the basement level, with a total of 18 storage rooms on the upper basement level with a further 18 in the lower basement plus a communal storage room.

A first discusson on the urban problems of the Marina and its surroundings in the city of A Coruña allows us to isolate and analyze the main urban contradictions and deficiencies that this historical part of the city is currently suffering.
We should take into consideration that almost all the area in question is land reclaimed from the sea and therefore has been or is still subject to physical, functional or administrative problems, falling under the responsibility of different port authorities, all of which contribute to the current urban dysfunction.
Indeed, similar to other Marinas, the port in A Coruña has grown in a disorderly way as a kind of "anti-city" enclosed within itself like a fortress, and to some extent, ignored by citizens. The increase of car traffic and poor planning has contributed to the degradation of the public space next to the port.
Objectives of this proposal:
Transformation of the Marina's boat yard in to a "boulevard" space with a strong urban centrality.
Maximal integration of the port areas in to the range of public spaces of the city.
Rationalistation and redirection of traffic underground, reducing the amount of visible road surface.
Resizing and gentrification of the open space in front of the marina.
Presentation of " el muro del Parrote" as a generator of a new urban space that connects the maritime pedestrian area with the facilities of La Solana and the Old City.
Creation of "artificial topography" that, similar to the interventions of the "Land Art", allows characterization and framing of the urban landscape providing elevated zones that offer extraordinary views of the Marina and the estuary of Burgo.

The Wine Promotion Center of the Ribeira Sacra has been designed to serve as a gateway to this region, using the staircase as a metaphorical element that represents the way of cultivating the wine at different levels.
The project objective is to bring closer to the visitor the Ribeira Sacra´s lifestyle.
One of the most remarkable places of the Iberian Peninsula when we take about the cultivation of the vine, is the Ribeira Sacra. A natural area between the rivers Sil and Miño.
The Wine Centre is an art project consisting of several elements. On the one hand, has been formed from the experiences of people with wine and earth. The music is very important. The music is very important in the exhibition. Get visitors to feel more involved in the theme of the exhibition.
The artistic language tries to be emotional as well as reporting the characteristics of this amazing place.
It aims to make the viewer identify with the exhibition to make their experience unforgettable.

The other day, travelling by train to Vigo, I saw a rock next to a tower block just outside of Pontevedra, near the island of the sculpture park It was a piece of granite that seemed to float, that large stone table with holes through which the water fell as it rained. I am not certain if I just imagined it.
This proposal considers the campus as a complex element linked and connected by the sculpture park. The new faculty, the Edificio das Artes, will extend the park across the other side of the river, emerging as the centre of the increased university campus.
Edificio das Artes will be built like a porch along the park boundary from start to end. Thus there will be dual access to the building: through the sculptures in the park, if coming from the rest of the campus, or from the proposed new road. The latter will be the official access, directly under a tower separating pedestrian and vehicular access. The two entrances convene inside the building in an exhibition hall, welcome facilities and concierge service.
The building is a large granite element elevated above a structure scheduled, an envelope of a vertebrate stone with a functional skeleton.
The space beneath this porch provides access from the park and exits from the workshops. The rock is continuous on the front and roof, but it is perforated systematically to illuminate units, interconnect floors, extend visual corridors and organise function rooms dependant on their light requirements.
The building is structured around these perforations by pattern of stripes alternating bands of movement with bands of installations.
And as in any crystallographic structure, its centre has the largest and most isotropic elements, with the smaller, more fragmented crystals parts ordered around the perimeter.

Taking into account provisions contained within the current Plan Especial de Ordenación Urbana de la Fachada al Mar, and the final information in terms of layout, levels and the finish of the side of the Cinturon Litoral, the project develops the solution used in the new Paseo Marítimo with the following characteristics and justifications which are composed of three parallel bands, with different dimensions and contents.
The first, a transition from the seaside of the Cinturón Litoral, will feature parking spaces, six meters wide on both sides of the road. The provision of trees, the type of pavement (paving stone and grass) and lighting, try to create a space that, while fulfilling a function has the effect of a garden or park.
The second, 18.80 m. wide, which will be called Paseo de Invierno, is a pedestrian path with a series of clusters of trees and squares, some connecting the pedestrian area with the Parque del Litoral and others with the bars and services. The pavement will be mostly earth, except the three main squares and access ramps to the beach which will be concrete.
The third and final strip, which will be called Paseo de Verano, 6.20 m wide, will run from the ramp's containment walls via three steps to the beach. The path will be made of Galician stone strips of different widths.
The beachfront bars are located on this lower walkway, on wooden platforms which lie lightly in the sand and also provide support for the shower services along the beach.

This project is developed during the early important phase of the Plan Especial del Sistema de Espacios Libres del Sector "Parc Central", whose aim was to establish a procedure for reorganizing the new center of Girona.
The project covers the area west of the Renfe viaduct and the bus station. However, it does not include the parking areas between the bus station and the Cornellá Cafes building, nor the part of the "square" which is partially occupied by this building.
The park concept has been influenced by its very strong linear configuration, for the continuity of the longitudinal street and for the delimitation of the site by the train viaduct and the bus station.
The project will base its layout on the treatment of the wooded areas , avoiding the volumes built, except in singular points. This is a proposal that could be called "soft" for its primary use of vegetation as a configuration material of the park and could also be classified as "open" in the sense that it is a space that over the years will be progressively enriched with symbolic, artistic elements or facilities as happens in most city parks.
The Park also concurs with the basic structure determined by the Plan Especial, which articulates its relationship with the city. Within the project we define the actual Park zone, which stretches the longitudinal space between the Plaza de Europa and carretera Santa Eugenia, and the gardens facing the railway platform, which have more specific and complementary uses.

A garden stages fragments of nature in a bounded and measurable space, following its own inimitable rules. The flower pots are gardens in houses. The Plaza de la Constitución is a "flower pot" in the city. A cluster of trees, familiar to the region´s citizens is recreated in the Plaza. The wooded area grows on a horizontal plane of smooth consistency ideal for walks and large polyhedral volumes of concrete frame the perimeter. This tectonic envelope separates and protects the Plaza from its surrounding streets and defines the boundaries of this urban flower pot.
References and playful details have always been a constant in garden project design to accentuate their surreal and recreational character. Hence the presence of the "coin sculptures "(monedas ) of Girona in front of the Bank of Spain, the "carp heads" (carpas ) of Onyar River, "narcissistic flies" on the trees, the benches with "mohicans", the " megaphone with legs" and the "fountain of words" trickling water from the four rivers of the city.
The girl who symbolizes the Constitution was born in Girona on the day of declaration. For every decade that this date is commemorated, Francisco Lopez will sculpt a new figure of the same girl which will be placed next to the previous one.
The square extends over the roof of a car park and is paved in concrete with a grey-green diamond pattern.
Elevated elements are used both as stands and as ventilation chimneys.
